The Georgia Boy Cafe at Park Circle serves the local, regional, and national entertainment community as a first tier floor for professional talent, the range of which has come to startle us, as we have long showcased lesser known but exceptionally prepared blues bands, jazz groups, folksingers, and absolutely wonderful poets in both the lounge and the restaurant.
Our “cats” (yeah, daddy-o) have been local, some have driven up “over the mountain” (South Mountain, a spine of the Appalachians) from Baltimore, Washington, D.C., and northern Virginia, and some have driven more than a thousand miles, albeit touring, to gig with us. We love ‘em all! And we’re fairly certain they love our southern hospitality (’cause they come back — and we have them back).
